Abstraction of grips
Abstraction is done using clay, filecard, pins, foil and wire.
The abstract 3d model of the hand opening the zip of the jacket.
The wings signifies the opening of the jacket justifying the freedom from the closed zip of the jacket.
The above picture represents the abstract hand made out of spring which is holding a pen (smaller radius spring).
The above 2 pictures show the abstract hand which is holding umbrella. I have used foil paper and wire, to make the fingers and rolled the wire into spring to show the holder of umbrella.
Making these 3d prototypes was fun.
I hope the final model will be much more interesting ,which is still a mystery as we don’t know what we are sopposed to do.
