This wasn’t a formal class, my group had a separate meeting with sir. We discussed about how we could present our final newspaper layouts to ma’am. 

We came up with several ideas, and we are looking for more of them.

Critical reflections

One thing though – the advantage of groups is that later in the real world most design projects will be collaborative, in groups as project sizes are big and clients expect to be spoilt for choices. But yeah I guess the initial foundation years should be more individualistic and hand work driven. Brainstorming ofcourse can and should be in groups.

Today was our first review and as a group we had prepared everything including the presentation and stuff.
I had made the flip book along with the newspaper layouts.
Ma’am reviewed our work, and she liked the way we had done our formatting, the layouts, the perfect reference of 1960’s and moreover she liked the idea of newspaper with the theme of wait period. I was completely satisfied with my work as well as ma’am review feedback.
Moreover I was satisfied with the appreciation of the layouts that I had made from the group members at the end.
It has been a great journey through the passage of time in time!

After the review sir sent us a goodbye message and gave the advice of being in touch with the friends that we made in first year. And I am so glad that I could make soo many friends in first year. Hoping second year to be as exciting as this year was!
