Week 13 time

Instructions are scary sometimes!

Today was one on one group review day. We discussed our ideas with sir and he told he needs some other installation digitally and he gave us some links to work over it and make a online game. We tried our level best. But making an online game isn’t at all easy.

In the second half all the teams will presented in brief to the whole class, the insights they gained about their eras: what was the social construct of society, what factors impacted the story/narration/theme of films in that era, what did we think was the message films in that era were trying to convey to the larger masses etc.

A brief direction of each teams project also was explained. Each team were given about 10 mins to present and 10 mins for feedback.

It was a short peer review. Some kind constructive feedback and discussions also took place during the second half of the lecture.

After a lot of conference calls, video calls, zoom app meetings….

We came up with 2 ideas.

One.

The person has to solve various hints which will be based on the events before watching the movie and then finally end up going to theater. For now we have decided this but we will have to think of how to execute this digitally.

Two.

A newspaper!

It is the most common paper which we all wait for 24 hours to get the updates on the current affairs and happening all around the world.

Newspapers have those solving games Newpaper is interacive.
Through newspapers we can show different articles to portray wait period. Also newspaper has a fun page, where there are sudoku, puzzles, comics, etc.

N I think this will go with the theme as well. Newspaper is a thing which all of us have to wait for and read to get the current updates.

Now you must be thinking why will someone go through a newspaper in this current world full of apps, mobiles, TVs and stuff. So here is why it is still important to us.
The headline coming out of a study that made waves in journalism circles is that most news still comes from traditional media, primarily newspapers.

1. They’re Still Great for Local Community News.

2. They’re Embracing More Platforms.

3. They Are Mining Online Demographic Data to their Advantage.

4. Print Will Be Seen As a Valued Extra

So I think this idea seems to be perfect according to me. Waiting for sir to approve it soon!

Stay tuned.
