Today’s class was really interesting as sir supported me to make a coffee table books which involves my favourite pastime ‘origami’!…
I used an inspiration from pinterest and then transformed it into the way I want my coffee table book to look like.
I have made a prototype for now, which I will be using for deciding the size and placement of text and images.
I have also made illustrations for my objects and rendered them on photoshop.
These are the illustrations that I have made using Adobe illustrator and Adobe photoshop. First I made the outlines on illustrator and then in photoshop I rendered it and also put in some effects to make it look bit older and real.
Here is the first layout that I have tried to make using grids and refernce dash lines.
At first I thought this is kind of difficult to make and definitely it is, but since I have made a mockup to start with how it’s going to look after it’s being made, I an bit confident now. Though I ll keep a backup plan for my book layout ready, but I’ll try to put in my best efforts to make this book look like what I want it to be!.
